9/11 National Day of Service and Remembrance

On the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, millions of Americans have the opportunity to unite in service and remembrance in their communities.  The 9/11 National Day of Service and Remembrance effort provides a positive way to remember and pay tribute to the 9/11 victims, survivors, and to honor those that rose in service in response to the attacks.

This year, the Department of Community Services, Elderly Affairs Division (EAD) RSVP Volunteer Program will be coordinating the collection of personal care supplies for homebound and seniors in need.  To show our support, EAD staff will collaborate with RSVP volunteers to collect and distribute these supplies.
