ADULT DAY - ORI's adult day programs enhance the quality of life of its participants through opportunities for social integration and training in self-sufficiency. Persons with special needs determine their own future by having the opportunity to learn new skills. ORI's programs offer age-appropriate education, daily living skills training, job skills and pre-employment training, counseling and support, self-enrichment classes, computer classes and activities that promote community integration and self-sufficiency.
RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM - ORI's residential care homes are licensed by the State of Hawaii and offers a warm and nurturing environment for people with special needs . Each home is non-coed and staffed by a live-in caregiver. Residents develop personal skills for daily living, social interaction skills, self-esteem, companionship and establish life-long friendships. Trained caregivers provide support, assistance, supervision and companionship.
RECREATION & LEISURE PROGRAM - ORI offers a variety of activities that program participants enjoy including outings, sports, enrichment classes and numerous opportunities to have fun. Participants engage in hobbies and pursue personal interests including music, singing, dance, drama, arts and crafts.
Residents enjoy weekly "fun nights" which encourage socialization and celebrate birthdays and holidays. Regular outings into the community may include dinners, movies, sports events, festivals and shopping.
