The goal is to help them achieve self-reliance, greater self-sufficiency and increased financial security. Other programs: The Employment Creation program - assists low-income persons, immigrants and refugees to become self-employed in their own business. The program provides specialized training in the area of small business creation and entrepreneurship, as well as linkage to mentorship and available resources. Target group: immigrants and refugees. Eligibility: Individuals 16 years old to adults, low-income persons, immigrants and refugees who meet the prescribed requirements such as income, residency status and geographic origins will be eligible for services.
