Na Pu?uwai is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and one of five Native Hawaiian Health Care Systems developed to improve Native Hawaiian health equity and disparities. Na Pu?uwai is primarily federally funded through the Native Hawaiian Health Care Improvement Act. Na Pu'uwai has developed a healthcare system for Molokai and Lanai that offers the following services: Adult Day Care Health; Dental Education for Elementary School children; Cancer Awareness Education and Prevention; Promotion of the traditional Hawaiian Diet/Healing Practices; Healthy Nutrition Educational Classes; HIV/AIDS Education and Prevention; Asthma Education and Management; Fit for Life; Women's Health Education; Breast/Cervical Screening Clinics; Tobacco and Smoking Awareness; Diabetes Education and Prevention; Cardiovascular Risk Disease Education; Cardiovascular Risk Clinic Screening (CRC); CPR Education and Training Center; Hearing and Screening for Elementary School Children; Podiatry Evaluation and Education; Rural/Health Outreach Grant Program; and Kupuna Aging in Place with Assistance (KAPA).
