Informational Presentations & Caregiver Training for Family Caregivers

The Elderly Affairs Division has partnered with the following organizations to provide Educational Presentations & Training opportunities for informal Family Caregivers.  Please visit their websites to register for upcoming sessions:

Catholic Charities Hawaii:  Refer to website for information on future presentations and recordings of previous ones.

Kupuna Care Pair: Information on care options, what to consider, what is available, what is appropriate, etc.  Refer to website for recordings of previous presentations and information on any upcoming ones.

*These sessions are intended for family caregivers or individuals planning for elder care for themselves.  No credits will be offered for professional or paid caregivers such as CNAs and those employed by care facilities.  Sessions are free to the public, however, they do incur significant costs for the sponsoring agencies. Therefore, please only register for in-person sessions you are serious about attending as "no-shows" result in empty seats that could have been given to other caregivers.

Other partner agencies providing Caregiver services:

Alzheimer's Association: Caregiver Support Groups, Education, etc.

Project Dana: Caregiver Support Groups, Education, Counseling, etc.

St. Francis: Education, Care coordination (CARE PLUS Program), etc.

Kokua Kalihi Valley: Caregiver Support Groups.
